Rosemary C. (O'Brien) Murray

Rosemary C. Murray, of Munhall, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her beloved family on February 10, 2026, at the age of 93.

She was the beloved wife of 67 years of the late Francis X. Murray; loving mother of Kevin (Barbara) Murray, Thomas (Darlene) Murray, Mary Grace Murray, and the late Daniel Murray and Kathryn McNelis; adoring grandma of Laura (Aaron) Murray, Emily Parks, Patrick Murray, Melissa Murray, Neil Murray, and Trevor (Kristin) Graegin; cherished great-grandmother of Kellan, Conor, and Rowan; daughter of the late William C. and Mary (Lacey) O'Brien; sister of the late William O'Brien, Margaret Pederson, and Thomas O'Brien.

Rosemary was a lifelong caregiver whose compassion and dedication defined her life’s work. After graduating in 1953 from the Homestead Hospital School of Nursing, she began her career as a labor and delivery nurse at Homestead Hospital. She later found her calling in elder care, traveling throughout the Pittsburgh area to provide comfort and support to those she cared for. Committed to serving her community, she founded the Serra Manor Personal Care Home in Munhall, where she ensured those in her care received the highest quality of attention and compassion.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 12, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 13, 10 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
