Stanley J. Maslanka, Jr., formerly of West Mifflin, passed away while surrounded by his loving family on March 16, 2024, at the age of 82.
Stan was born and raised in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh and was the longtime owner and operator of Jim's Amoco Station on the Boulevard of the Allies. He was a Vietnam-era Army veteran.
He was the beloved husband of 47 years of the late Ann D. Maslanka (Triska); loving father of Linda (Robert) Moore, Laura (Charles) Sprouse, Keith (Carol) Varner, Beth (Jeff) Lynch, and Matthew (Lori) Maslanka; adoring Pap of Ryan (Jun), Amanda (Shane), Kristen (Nick), Kara (Sharawn), Nick (Em), Rachel (Seth), Dylan, Tyler, Jimmy, Eddie, and Colin; great-Pap of Connor, Aubrey, Mira, and Ella; and son of the late Stanley J., Sr., and Dorothy (Istik) Maslanka.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 20, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Committal Service will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, March 21. Please arrive at the funeral home for a short gathering at 11 AM prior to processing to the cemetery.
